Bruce Willis returns as NYC cop John McClane for a fifth time, this time heading to Moscow to team up with his CIA agent son (Jai Courtney) to take on a cluster of evil Ruskie bad guys. Unfortunately, the film is pretty terrible, eschewing much of what makes the Die Hard franchise stand out from other shoot-em up action movies, and adds nothing to replace it.
