Following the incredible success of Netflix’s 2018 romantic comedy To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and its two sequels, XO, Kitty arrives to chronicle the romantic misadventures of the youngest of the franchise’s three Korean-American sisters, Kitty Song Covey (played by Anna Cathcart), on her own quest to find true love.

While the film trilogy focused on the relationships of middle sibling Lara Jean (Lana Condor) as she navigated high-school life in the suburbs of Portland, a city in the US state of Oregon, Cathcart frequently stole the limelight, thanks to Kitty’s good-natured naivety and often meddlesome matchmaking efforts.

This new 10-episode series marks the first time the streaming platform has created a spin-off show from one of its original movies, with Jenny Han, from whose novels the films were adapted, serving as showrunner and lead writer.
