In our first dispatch of the New Year, Fernando and James discuss the films they are looking forward to over the next twelve months. What do they predict will be the box office hits of 2013, the big surprises of the year, as well as those calamitous bombs that fail to deliver the goods?

Hello, I am new here.
Mr. Marsh, I just finished The Golden Briefcase podcast in which you guest hosted and spoke about Korean cinema. I was so impressed with your demeanor and knowledge on that podcast that I decided to search out The Society For Film. Thank you for being such a good host on my beloved Golden Briefcase podcast. You have made a fan out of me. Thanks again.
From,
David
P.S.
I would love some ability to download the podcast from your website instead of iTunes, but I fully understand if that is impossible or inconvenient.LikeLike

Hi David,
Thanks so much for the kind words, I had a great time (as always) on the show and I’m thrilled to hear that you enjoyed listening. While it is certainly possible to listen to our show directly on the website here, I’m not sure if there is a way to download it that doesn’t involve iTunes. I shall defer to my co-host Fernando (aka “the technical one”) who will get back to you shortly.
In the meantime, thanks for your support and hope you enjoy what we are doing here!
James

Hello David,
Thanks for your comment and for checking out our site.
We’ve added a link that will allow you to open the podcasts in another window or download them to your computer. On a windows machine they should download right away and on a mac, they will download with a right mouse click, or control button and mouse click.
Thanks again,
f.

Thanks guys. I appreciate you both taking the time out of your days to help me out. It means a lot to me. // Fernando, I am jealous that you live in Singapore. Haha. I was able to spend some time there and it is an amazingly wonderful country. Getting lost in Vivo City, eating char kway teow at the Outram Park stall in Hong Lim Food Centre, standing in awe at the audacity of The Marina Bay Sands. The place is amazing. I hope to one day live there too. If only the weather was a little more temperate…
