A couple of weeks ago I was invited to join hosts Joakim Thiesen and Tom Jennings on their Masters of Cinema Cast to discuss a release of my choice from the collection. I chose Sidney Lumet’s The Offence, from 1973, which features a knockout performance from Sean Connery (desperate to distance himself from the role of James Bond) as an imploding British detective on the trail of a child murderer.
